Release and Disposition of Records

This Colorado State Patrol policy establishes guidelines and procedures for the release and maintenance of State Patrol records, and for their eventual disposition or disposal.

Body Worn Cameras

The purpose of this policy is to provide members with guidelines for the use of State Patrol-issued Body Worn Cameras(BWC. These guidelines include the camera function testing and operation, the responsibilities for the data identification and storage, the retrieval and review of digital recordings captured by the BWC, and the records administration of the audio-visual digital recordings.
